In 1975, Alan Light. through his DynaPubs company, produced an LP recording of that year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The entrepreneurial spirit he showed in doing so is matched now by the generous spirit he shows in allowing this recording to be made available on the Comic-Convention Memories web site as streamable audio for your listening pleasure.
First, here are front and back scans of the original album cover. (And this copy of the album, by the way, was Shel Dorf’s copy which comes to us through Shel’s brother, Michael Dorf, and Shel’s good friend Charlie Roberts.)
And here is Alan Light at his recording station at the 1975 Comic-Con.
And here, without further ado, is the recording itself. Just click on each player button below to have a listen.
